Ives Sweeps The Night At Norway Speedway

Jordan Ives wins big on Friday Night at Norway Speedway winning the fast dash and the Roy Allard Memorial Race presented by Econo Foods.

Qualifying 6th in time trials Jordan said, "The car felt great."  He started on the pole in the fast dash and held the lead to the checkered flag.

During the A feature Ives started in the 3rd row on the outside and about 10 laps into the race worked his way to the front of the pack were he would hold his ground.  With 6 laps left a 3rd caution flag came out.  Jordan said, "That caution made me really nervous with Dalton Zehr and Dan Lindsley behind me, I was feeling a lot of pressure.  I had to take a deep breathe, calm my nerves, and focus on staying out front."

When the flag dropped Jordan had a good restart, but so did Dalton Zehr applying more pressure.  The two battled it out and when the checkered flag flew Ives crossed the line in front of Zehr by no more than a bumper, winning his 2nd feature of the year at Norway Speedway.
