Jordan Wins The Search For A Champion

Jordan Wins The Champion® Spark Plugs Search For A Champion

After 5 months of competition and countless hours of deliberation Champion® has named Jordan Ives the 2014 Search for a Champion $50,000 Grand Prize sponsorship winner!

On February 18th Champion® announced Jordan as one of the top 15 $5,000 sponsorship winners which is added to the grand prize money totaling $55,000 in sponsorship cash.

When asked how he felt to be selected as the Grand Prize winner Jordan said, "It's truly amazing!  I really can't believe it right now!  This is the best birthday present ever!"  In less than a week Jordan passed his driving test to legally drive a vehicle, turned sixteen years old, and won the 2014 Search for a Champion contest, I think it is safe to say Jordan will remember this week for the rest of his life.

The whole Jordan Ives Racing team would like to extend a deep thank you to all who have voted, shared the contest, and took any part in making this come together.  Without such an overwhelming community effort this would not have been accomplished.  We are thankful to Mike Daniels and Jack Hall of our great sponsor Radio Results Network for all the media coverage and support during this contest.  We are thankful to the Daily Press and WLUC TV6 for getting the news out on this competition and shining a light on Jordan's entry.  Thank you to our dear friend and fellow church member, Kathy Rose of the UPIR for all of your encouragement, written articles, and sharing Jordan's entry on several race platforms, you are a true blessing to our family.  Thank you to GLIR President Peanut Stankowicz for all of your support and help to reach more voters.  Thank you to Norway Speedway for your encouragement and support.  We give our utmost thank you to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as we know He has His hands in all things, and we know that He delights in our joys, we are forever grateful that He is at the center of our life journey.
