Welcome to the Official Website of Jordan Ives Racing
Jordan Ives is a 16yr old race car driver from Gladstone, MI. Growing up in a family who has been involved in racing for many generations and being around race cars since birth, Jordan developed a passion to race at a very young age.
Jordan started out racing motorbikes at age 5, within the past few years he shifted his focus to micro-sprint cars where he excelled, and won several championships.
In the summer of 2012, fresh off of 2 championships during the winter in the 600cc micro sprint class, Jordan made his move into super late models. This step proved to be a wise choice as he won 8 races at Norway Speedway, and earning "Rookie of the Year" in the super late model class. Jordan also ran his 600cc micro sprint on the dirt at UPIR that summer & won the championship.
2013 was a year of progress for Jordan as he ventured out to several new tracks. Jordan raced the full Bink's Coca Cola Late Models Series at Norway Speedway where he finished 8th in points, the Tundra Super Late Models Series where he finished in the top 20, a limited run in the ARCA MIDWEST TOUR, as well as an apearance at the infamous Milwaukee Mile.
We are now in the 2014 season and Jordan Ives has reached several new goals, starting with his win in the Champion® spark plugs 2014 Search for a Champion contest which earned him the title of Champion's Champion and $55,000 in sponsorship money. Jordan won the A Feature race in his first race of the year during Norway Speedway's season opener. Showing growth as a driver at several tracks this year, Jordan will continue to race a full season at Norway Speedway, The Tundra Super Lates Series, and a limited run in the ARCA Midwest Tour.
Jordan drove a Robb Vanderloop owned #18 Super Late Model at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, WI on June 19th and ran very well. In recent developments Jordan will be piloting the Robb Vanderloop / Vanderloop Equipment owned #18 Super Late Model for the remainder of the WIR race schedule.
2014 may be a year that Jordan looks back on as an instrumental year in his journey up the ranks in the sport he loves.
Jordan's goal is to take part in a Driver Development Program where he believes he will not only grow as a driver, but also be an excellent teammate, who is willing to give 100% of his dedication to the team & sport he loves.
